Webcast Alert: Top Executives To Speak at National Chicken Council Annual Conference

Top executives of four major chicken production and processing companies will participate in a roundtable discussion and take questions from industry analysts at the National Chicken Council Annual Conference on Thursday, October 5, in Washington. The sessions will be webcast live from 2:15 to 3:45 p.m. EDT.

Participating will be John Bekkers, president and chief executive officer of Gold Kist Inc. (NASDAQ: GKIS), Atlanta, Georgia; Lampkin Butts, president of Sanderson Farms (NASDAQ: SAFM), Laurel, Mississippi; O.B. Goolsby, president and chief executive officer of Pilgrim’s Pride (NYSE: PPC), Pittsburg, Texas; and Bill Lovette, senior group vice president of poultry and prepared foods, Tyson Foods (NYSE: TSN), Springdale, Arkansas. Each will make a brief presentation and then participate in a panel discussion.

Asking questions of the panel will be Farha Aslam, vice president of equity research for Stephens, Inc., and Michael Piken, research associate at Cleveland Research Company. Moderating will be Mark Hickman, president and chief executive officer of Peco Foods, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, the incoming chairman of the National Chicken Council.
