NCC and Other Groups Urge Congress to Let Ethanol Subsidy Expire

In the letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), NCC and other major poultry and livestock trade associations have urged Congress to allow the tax subsidy and protective tariff for ethanol to expire as scheduled in December. Also signing the letter were the American Meat Institute, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, National Meat Association, National Pork Producers Council, and the National Turkey Federation.
